As part of PolyAI's Learning and Development initiative I had the opportunity to attend Figma Config London 2025 with my amazing design colleagues Elena and Eunice.
The event was held at the Excel and began at 9:15 with an opening keynote from the CEO and co-founder Dylan Field. After this we were given an in depth review of Figma's new product releases delivered by Yuhki Yamashita, Chief Product officer at Figma, and his brilliant team.
I found this opening session inspiring. Figma Draw, Figma Make, Figma Sites, Figma Buzz, and Grid all provide rich capabilities for anyone wishing to rapidly prototype their ideas and build engaging experiences.
Throughout the day there were fantastic presentations given on different design related topics. Although all were of exceptional quality, two really stood out.
Dan Hollick from TailwindCSS speaking about building modern colour palettes for the web and the Stripe Press duo, Nick Jones and Devin Jacoviello (whom were very funny).
This was an amazing opportunity to bond with my team whom I’m lucky to work alongside. As always I find these events inspiring and help to top up passion and motivation. I hope there will be a Figma Config London 2026.
If you're interesting in getting a real feel for the event, my colleague Elena has created this incredible video about it.
